Mary Elizabeth Henderson, 88, of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.

She was born July 10, 1936, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Howard Shirley and Pearl Virginia (Miller) Wills.

She had worked at Mack Truck, Fil-tec in Smithsburg, Maryland and at McDonald's in Hagerstown for eight years.

Her husband, Ernest Franklin Henderson, preceded her in death on January 1, 2015.  A son, Tracy; five brothers, Johnny, Virgil, Charles, Jim and Buck; and two sisters, Dorothy and Helen, also predeceased her.

Raymond "Mutt" Henderson of Hagerstown, MD

Ernest Henderson, Jr. (Crystal) of Paw Paw, WV

Five grandchildren –

Brian, Michael, Andrew, Kimmy and Elizabeth

And eleven great-grandchildren –

Kyra, Addy, Jet, Waylon, Luca, Garrett, Madison, Carleigh, Aubrey, Melanie and Maliyah

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 16 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 17 at 1:00 pm with Evangelist Richard White officiating.

Interment will be at Woodrow Cemetery.
