Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Propst, 92, of Moyers, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home. She was born January 2, 1921 at Cave, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Harry K. Sponaugle and Ollie Harper Sponaugle. Mary was a homemaker. Her passion was working in her flowers and garden. She was a member of Thorn Creek Chapel of the Brethren, where she taught the Children's Sunday School Class. On April 24, 1943 she married Lester B. Propst, Sr., who preceded her in death on June 22, 2001. Surviving are - One son - Lester B. Propst, Jr. and his companion, Debbie Cayton of Franklin, WV She was preceded in death by four brothers, Omer Sponaugle, John Sponaugle, Calvin Sponaugle and Earl Sponaugle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia with Pastor Pat Godfrey officiating. Burial will be at the Blue Grass Cemetery, Blue Grass, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
