Mrs. Margaret M. Smith, 91, of Upper Tract, West Virginia passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born August 17, 1922 at Kline, WV and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Edna Thacker Mallow. On October 21, 1939, she married Eston N. Smith, who preceded her in death on April 30, 2002. Margaret was a homemaker and farmer and raised poultry with her husband. She was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church and had been the Kline news writer for The Pendleton Times from the mid-60s until the past few years. Surviving are - One son and daughter-in-law - Samuel J. and Stanna Smith of Upper Tract, WV Two grandchildren - Melissa Jo Lambert and her husband, Steven of Riverton, WV Will Smith of Alexandria, VA And two great-grandchildren - Rachel Lambert and Kevin Lambert. She was preceded in death by one sister, Cleta Kile. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church with Pastors Jason and Jess Felici officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia. Memorials may be made to Pendleton Manor, P. O.
