Macie L. Mitchell, 91, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

She was born December 12, 1925 at Kline, WV and was the daughter of the late Oscar Armentrout and Phoebe Greenawalt Armentrout.

Macie retired from Hanover Shoe Company.  She was a member of the South Mill Creek Church of the Brethren.

On April 30, 1943, she married Carl W. Mitchell, who preceded her in death on November 10, 2003.  One daughter, Thelma Lee Mitchell Smith; three brothers, Raymond Armentrout, Richard Armentrout and Carroll Dahmer and four sisters, Leota Kesner, Freda Harman, Arbelia Calhoun and Nellie Calhoun also preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, September 29, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Ours officiating.

Interment will be at Kline Cemetery.
