Lynn Martin Rexrode, 71, of Franklin, WV passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home.

He was born December 16, 1945 at Monterey, Virginia and was the son of the late Walter M. Rexrode and Matie Catherine (Gum) Rexrode.

He was a graduate of Highland High School and a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Moore Brothers.  Lynn never married.

Sara Wood of Waynesboro, VA

And special cousins -
Dianne Whetzel (& husband, Austen), Mary Propst, Matthew Propst, Falon Keiter-Gilbert (& husband, Brian Gilbert), Aubree Keiter, Grayson Gilbert and Malachi Ours

His body has been cremated.  A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV on Saturday, October 21, 2017 beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the service hour at 1:00 PM.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.

Inurnment will follow at the Blue Grass Cemetery in Blue Grass, Virginia.
