Luna Rebecca Bryant, 79, of Dundalk, Maryland, and formerly of Buckeye, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC.

She was born January 6, 1937 at Buckeye and was the daughter of the late M.C. (John) Howard and Eula Rose Howard.

Luna retired from the Baltimore County, MD Sheriff's Dept. and was a Christian by faith.  She loved to bake and stayed in constant communication with her family each day.

Her husband, Kenneth Julian Bryant preceded her in death on August 10, 2001.  Also preceding her in death were a brother, James Howard, and four sisters – Eileen Hanson, Guilda Browning, Jennie Viers and Betty Kane.

Luna is survived by –

Three sons –

Jerry Bryant (& wife, Susan) of Joppatown, MD

Kenneth Bryant (& wife, Lynn) of Dundalk, MD

Tim Bryant (& wife, Kim) of Benson, NC

Two sisters –

Joanna Sharp of Hillsboro, WV

Juanita McNeill of Marlinton, WV

One brother –

Judson L. "Bud" Howard (& wife, Barbara) of Covington, VA

Three half-sisters –

Eula Kitchen of Richmond, VA

Cynthia Prichett (& husband, David) of New Kent, VA

Sandra Lloyd of Mineral, VA

Eight grandchildren

Eleven great-grandchildren
And one great-great grandchild

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, WV  24954.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Marlinton, West Virginia.

Jared Bryant, Jeremy Bryant, Nicholas Bryant, Christopher Bryant, James Townsend and Dominic Corelli will serve as her pallbearers.
