Lucy M. Westfall, 87, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Cortland Acres Health & Rehabilitation in Thomas, West Virginia.

She was born October 22, 1938, in Franklin and was the daughter of the late James Dewey Mattox and Mabel Ellen (Westfall) Mattox.

She had worked at Franklin Garment Company, Hanover Shoe Company and the IGA Deli.  Lucy was a member of Living Faith Church.

On October 21, 1979, she married Charles Junior Westfall, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 22, 2026.  She was also predeceased by a daughter, Marcella Sinnett; five sisters, Hilda Simmons, Bonnie Pennington, Stella Philippi, Beulah Sharp and Kay Wilfong; and a stepson, Charles Junior Westfall, II.

Oliver Brian Mowery, Derek Mowery, Agenia Mowery, Vanessa Mowery and Melina Mason

And seven great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 15 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Brad Mitchell officiating.
