Lucy G. Propst, 89, of Sugar Grove, WV passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

She was born January 7, 1932 at Ruddle, WV and was the daughter of the late Olin Frederick "Poodie" Smith and Margaret Pauline Miller Smith.

Lucy graduated from Franklin High School, and retired after working as a school crossing guard for Prince George's County, Maryland.  She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was a past member, as well as past treasurer, of the South Fork Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Smith, Gerald Smith, Olin "Sonny" Smith, Jr. and Gene Smith, Sr.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Pine Hill Cemetery, 181 Pine Hill Lane, Brandywine, WV with Revs. Jason & Jess Felici officiating.
