Lois Fern Miller Dasher, 67, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.  Lois made her home in Ft. Seybert, but more recently had been a resident at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

She was born September 12, 1951 in Petersburg and was the daughter of the late Hoover and Hester Miller.

A 1970 graduate of Circleville High School, she received her RN BSN in 1974 from Alderson-Broaddus College, and worked as a nurse for 25 years.  Lois was a devoted Christian by faith and also enjoyed crocheting.

Lewis Miller and wife, April of Seneca Rocks, WV

Lenny Miller and wife, Susan of Seneca Rocks, WV

Larry Miller and wife, Jennifer of Seneca Rocks, WV

Four grandsons

Six great-grandchildren

Numerous nieces and nephews

And two very special caregivers and friends – Misty Perry and Mandy Davis

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, were her loving husband, Richard L. Dasher, Sr., one sister, Lily Miller, a brother, Leon Miller and her four-legged companion, Snuggles.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at the Miller Family Cemetery at Seneca Rocks with Colleen Clark of the Cabins Assembly of God Church officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center staff for their wonderful care and compassion for her during her eleven month stay with them, and would also like to thank Grant Memorial Hospital and Grant County Ambulance Service.
