Linda J. Kesner, 68, of 661 Locust Avenue, Weston, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Crestview Nursing Home at Jane Lew, WV. She was born October 30, 1942 at Morgantown, WV and was the daughter of the late Harvey O. VanHorn, Jr. and Opal Marie Shaw VanHorn. Linda was a graduate of Morgantown High School, attended WVU and was a graduate of the Fairmont State University School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church of Weston and the Lewis County Democratic Women's Club. On August 30, 1962, she married Leland F. Kesner, who survives. Also surviving are - One son - Michael B. Kesner and wife, Juanita of Weston, WV Two daughters - Janet Hatfield of Weston, WV Lisa Kesner of Weston, WV One brother - Dennis VanHorn and wife, Lynn Rae of Smithville, PA One granddaughter And several nieces and nephews At Mrs. Kesner's request, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV with Rev. Harold Cullers officiating. Inurnment will be at the Kline Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
