LeRay A. Rexrode, 79, of Monterey, VA died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his home. He was born July 13, 1930 at Franklin, WV and was the son of the late George M. Rexrode and Elva G. Harper Rexrode. He had been a construction worker. On December 31, 1955, he married Helen Barnisky Rexrode, who survives. Also surviving are - One sister-in-law - Louise Barnisky of Marlinton, WV A number of nieces and nephews Caregivers - Lori & Chris Simmons and their children, Kayla & Cameron And special friends - Bob & Vivian Terry He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Rexrode and one sister, Anna Grace Hitzler. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Andre Crummett officiating. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. Carl Hull, Dwight Harper, Jr., Bobby Terry, David Coe, Dennis Simmons and David Akers will serve as his pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Highland County Rescue Squad.
