Leora "Ruth" Breece, 89, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at her home. She was born December 13, 1921 at Moyers, WV and was the daughter of the late George Hiram Rexrode and Mertie Puffenbarger Rexrode. She was a waitress and a member of Central Baptist Church in Bladensburg, MD. On December 31, 1949, she married Carl Thomas Breece, who preceded her in death on February 13, 1989. She is survived by - Three daughters - Wanda Marie Lewis of Colmar Manor, MD Mary Lee (& Arthur) Sawyers of Franklin, WV Barbara Sue (& James Edward) Jackson of Colmar Manor, MD Two sisters - Loretha Faye Bodkin of Moyers, WV Thelma Louise Watson of Charles Town, WV Two brothers - William Rexrode of Williamsport, MD Charles Rexrode of Moyers, WV Six grandchildren - Michael Lewis, Amanda Fike, Karen Lewis, Jason Sawyers, Edward Lewis, Jesse Hammond And seventeen great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by one brother, Everette Rexrode, and one sister, Sadie Frye. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV with Pastor Tim Hall and Pastor Sam Harper officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery at Brentwood, MD. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
