Laura Mae Noland, 93, of Oldtown, MD passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Cumberland, MD.

She was born November 23, 1923 in Paw Paw, WV and was the daughter of the late Ashby Bailey and Lavina McDowell Bailey Fike.

She had worked for National Fruit and retired from Consolidated Orchard Company.  Laura was a member of Oldtown Baptist Fellowship Church.

On June 9, 1951, she married Donald C. Noland, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 27, 1984.

She is survived by –

Janice Herrell of Paw Paw, WV

Ruth Long (& husband, Rodger) of Oldtown, MD

Patty Self (& husband, Larry, Sr.) of Hanover, PA

One son –

Clyde Noland, Sr. (& wife, Paula) of Oldtown, MD

One sister –

Annabelle Twigg of Oldtown, MD

Nine grandchildren

Sixteen great-grandchildren

And one great-great-grandson

She was preceded in death by one son, Donald C. Noland, Jr., three brothers, Clyde Bailey, John Bailey and Wayne Bailey and four sisters, Helen Bailey, Nancy Whitacre, Mary Arnold and Tiny Delawder.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, March 5 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw, WV.

A  funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, March 6, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw with Pastor William Hopkins officiating.

Interment will be at Oldtown V.F.W. Cemetery.

Larry Self, Jr., Richard Long, Clyde Noland, Jr., Tom Alkire, Willis Bohrer and James Crabtree will serve as her pallbearers.
