Larna Jane Powell, 64, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Health Center in Cumberland, Maryland. She was born March 23, 1951 at Berkeley Springs, WV and was the daughter of the late George Denton Powell and Juanita Corbett Peters. A 1969 graduate of Paw Paw High School, she was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. Larna is survived by - Two sisters - Marie Brackett of Martinsburg, WV Barbara Fishel of Slanesville, WV Three brothers - Gilbert Corbett of North Carolina William Powell of Stephens City, VA Robert Powell of Paw Paw, WV And a Number of Nieces and Nephews, including Damian Powell, who was like a son to her. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Powell. Her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
