Kyle Hunter Puffenberger, 18, of Upper Tract, West Virginia, died Friday, February 27, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident. Born May 19, 1990 at Petersburg, West Virginia, he was the son of Kevin Puffenberger and Heather Suzanne Sites Puffenberger, and big brother of Kole Jacob Puffenberger of Upper Tract. He was a 2008 graduate of Pendleton County High School, where he played sports for the Wildcats, and was a freshman at Glenville State College, where he was a proud member of the football team. He enjoyed hunting, football and baseball. He was a member of the Main Mountain Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents and brother, he is survived by - Paternal grandfather - Virgil Puffenberger of Pendleton Manor, Franklin, WV Maternal grandparents - Glenn M. Sites & Debbie Hevener Sites of Upper Tract, WV Maternal great-grandmother - Martha Hevener of Franklin, WV He was preceded in death by - Paternal grandmother - Betty Puffenberger Maternal great-grandfather - Claude Hevener Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Living Faith Church, Franklin, West Virginia with Pastor Glenn M. Sites officiating. Burial will be at the Sites Family Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Living Faith Church. A meal will be served at the Pendleton Community Building in Franklin following the interment. Food for the dinner may be left at the Community Building anytime after 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
