Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Schell, Jr., 52, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his parents' home.

He was born January 6, 1969 at Petersburg, WV and was the son of Martha Kail Rodgers Alt of Upper Tract and the late Kenneth Lee Schell, Sr.

Mr. Schell attended Upper Tract Elementary School and Franklin High School, and worked as a chicken catcher at Wampler-Longacre.  He then joined a construction crew for STX Corp., and spent the majority of his adult life building railroads up and down the East Coast, advancing from crewman to superintendent of jobs.  He loved hunting, being in the outdoors and visiting with friends and family.

Many great nieces and a great nephew who loved and will truly miss him.

Preceding him in death in addition to his father was an infant son, Jerry Ray Schell.

His body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
