Kelly William Harman, 73, of Harrisonburg, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was born August 16, 1939 at Mozer, West Virginia, and was the only child of John William and Freda Lucille Armentrout Harman. Kelly graduated from Franklin High School in 1958. On March 7, 1959, he married Barbara Joan Judy Harman, who survives. Kelly and Barbara lived near Washington D.C. until 1962 when Kelly accepted employment with Gordon Potato Chip Company, and they moved back to Franklin. In 1968, they moved to their home near Hinton, VA. He was a bakery good distributor with McKee Baking Company (Little Debbie) for the Harrisonburg area. Kelly was an active member of the Harrisonburg Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he had served as Bishop, and was also an active member of the West Rockingham Ruritan Club. Surviving in addition to his wife are - A son - Gregory Alan Harman and his wife, Kathy of Hagerstown, MD A daughter - Tracy Michele Brewer and her husband, John of Albuquerque, NM And eight grandchildren - Michael Harman, Christopher Harman, Ryan Harman, Jennifer Harman, Darren Harman, Steven Brewer, Jason Brewer and his wife, Brittni, and Jeffrey Brewer Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Harrisonburg Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 210 South Avenue, Harrisonburg, Virginia with Bishop Leonard Aamodt officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Kline Cemetery near Upper Tract, West Virginia. Darren Harman, David Hartman, Adam Hott, Loy Hartman, Delmas Calhoun and Randy Clem will serve as his pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia, and they will also receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Harrisonburg Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
