Kay V. Hamman's Obituary
Kay V. Hamman, 76, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at her home.
She was born November 21, 1939 in Fort Seybert, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Isaac William Hottinger and Lena Dove Hottinger.
She was a 1958 graduate of Franklin High School and had worked in a garment factory and in the apple orchards and was a homemaker. Kay was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren.
On June 28, 1963, she married Roland Howard Hamman, who survives.

Two daughters –
Rolena Puffinberger (& husband, David, Sr.) of Winchester, VA
Sarah Hamman of Stephens City, VA
One son –
Howard Hamman (& wife, Rebecca) of Stephens City, VA
One sister –
Mae Harold of Harrisonburg, VA
One brother –
Fred Hottinger (& wife, Bonnie) of Fort Seybert, WV
Six grandchildren – Storm Hamman, Skylar Hamman, David Puffinberger, Jr., James Puffinberger, Marykay Hamman and Jacob Hamman
And two great-grandchildren – David Puffinberger III and Leelyn Burton
She was preceded in death by three brothers – Albert, William and Dee Hottinger and five sisters – Velma Ratliff, Faye Calhoun, Gay Marvin, Mary Dasher and Goldie Hottinger and by one grandson, Richard D. Stout III.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 12 at the Hottinger-Hamman Cemetery, Brady Hollow, Fort Seybert, West Virginia with Rev. Eugene Shaver officiating.
