Mrs. Karen Sue Kimble, 63, of Upper Tract, West Virginia passed away Saturday evening, May 11, 2013 at her home. She was born January 22, 1950 at Harman, West Virginia and was the daughter of Anne Varner Lawrence of Hambleton, WV and the late Charles Lawrence. She had worked as a secretary in the Dietary Dept. of Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, MD and was a secretary at Mineral Fabrications in Keyser, WV. Karen was Pentecostal by faith. On April 7, 2003, she married Larry "Doc" Kimble, who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Kimberly Middleton (& her husband, Todd) of Ft. Ashby, WV Two sons - William "Bill" Shepherd (& his wife, Tracy) of Cumberland, MD Richard "Rich" Shepherd (& his wife, Carla) of Ridgeley, WV Two stepsons - Westley Kimble of Petersburg, WV Nicholas Kimble of Upper Tract, WV One stepdaughter - Kelly Kimble of Fairmont, WV Three sisters - Jane Ends (& her husband, Sherley) of Parsons, WV Anita Frazier (& her husband, Truman) of Shawnee, OK Beverly Dravenstott of Hambleton, WV Seven grandchildren - Corey Shepherd, Kayla Middleton, Riley Shepherd, Katlyn Middleton, Codey Shepherd, Bryson Shepherd, Cyra Shepherd One great-granddaughter - Marlee Alt Two step-granddaughters - Olivia Kimble & Madison White She was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Lawrence Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Kevin Staggs officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Kimble Funeral Home.
