June L. Ord, 74, of the Smith Creek Community, Franklin, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Emeritus in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She was born June 24, 1939 at Ziegler, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late William Oscar Lambert and Ethel Buanna Moyers Lambert. June had worked for Metro Pants, Franklin Garment Company and owned and operated Franklin Cleaners from 1977 - 1991. She was also a caregiver and a member of Smith Creek Church of the Brethren. On August 15, 1964, she married Clarence Junior Ord, who preceded her in death on June 18, 1997. Surviving are - One daughter and son-in-law - Tamara and Eddie Judy of Waynesboro, VA One son and daughter-in-law - Rick and Cathy Ord of Franklin, WV One sister - Betty Mongold of Dayton, VA Six brothers - Otha Lambert and his wife, June of Waynesboro, VA Warnie Lambert and his wife, Geneva of Dayton, VA Charles Lambert and his wife, Janet of Franklin, WV Roger Stuckey and his wife, Jeannine of Archibald, OH Chuck Lambert and his wife, Lenna May of Staunton, VA Jack Lambert and his wife, Frisky of Franklin, WV Three grandchildren - Drake Judy and wife, Sarah Hillary Ord Sidney Judy One great-grandchild - Abigail Judy June was preceded in death by two sisters - Velma "Dit" Lambert and Faye Lambert. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Smith Creek Church of the Brethren with Pastor Daniel Ludwick officiating. Entombment will be in the Ord Family Mausoleum in the Moyers Family Cemetery, Smith Creek. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
