Judith Ann Hamel, 63, of Brandywine, West Virginia, died Friday, October 22, 2010 at her home. She was born February 12, 1947 at Winfield Park, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Austin Cummings and Dorothea White Cummings. She had worked as a Supervisor with the STAR Program in Brooke Haven, NY and was a member of the St. Paul's Independent Lutheran Church. On May 6, 2000, she married George G. Hamel, who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Lori Ann Pfautsch-Yander of Long Island, NY One son - William Pfautsch of Long Island, NY Three sisters - Carol Wilcox of Franklin, WV Beverly Long of Newport News, VA Linda Derosier of Apopka, FL And Five Grandchildren Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, West Virginia with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery, Long Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
