Mr. Johnnie Carroll "J.C." Harper, 60, of Moyers, West Virginia passed away at his home. He was born February 18, 1950 at Moyers, West Virginia, and was the son of the late John L. Harper and Mary Jane Propst Harper. He graduated from Augusta Military Academy and had attended Shepherd College. He worked at Harper's Store and was a member of the Sandy Ridge Church of the Brethren. He is survived by - One brother and sister-in-law - Leroy & Mary Lee Harper of Salisbury, MD One sister-in-law - Margaret Harper of Franklin, WV One niece - Kristina A. & her husband, William Eberly of Salisbury, MD Two nephews - Daniel L. & his wife, Elizabeth Harper of Damascus, MD Duane M. Harper of Dalzell, SC Five great-nephews - Nathan & his wife, Rachel Harper of Martinsburg, WV Nicholas Harper of Damascus, MD Matthew Harper of Damascus, MD Timothy Harper of Hamptonville, NC Anthony Harper of Hamptonville, NC He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Harper, and one infant sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Shyrl Smith officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, April 12 at the funeral home.
