Mr. John Leslie Prifogle, 66, of Paw Paw, WV and formerly of Cumberland, MD passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Veterans Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He was born April 27, 1947 at Batesville, Indiana and was the son of Helen Eckerle Prifogle of Brookeville, Indiana and the late Clarence Prifogle. John was a truck driver and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Eagles in Brookeville, IN, Harley Bohrer American Legion Post #128 in Paw Paw and was Catholic by faith. Surviving in addition to his mother are - His former wife - Sharon Prifogle of Paw Paw, WV One daughter - Lori Prifogle of IN Three stepdaughters - Susie Meeker of IN Pauline Seay of MD Shannon Hayes of IN One son - John Prifogle, Jr. of IN One stepson - Wilbert Meeker of MD One brother - James Prifogle and his family of Brookeville, IN And thirteen grandchildren A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Camp Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw with Rev. Steven Davis officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of the Cumberland American Legion Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.
