Mr. John Riggs Bjorkgren, 39, of Harrisonburg, VA passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. He was born February 5, 1974 at Woburn, Massachusetts and was the son of David Bjorkgren and Nancy Griffith Bjorkgren of Franklin, WV. John was a department manager at Lowe's in Harrisonburg. On August 9, 1997, he married Amy Greenawalt Bjorkgren (formerly of Upper Tract, WV), who survives. Also surviving are - Two sons - Colby Bjorkgren and Micah Bjorkgren at home John's most cherished role in life was that of a loving father to his two sons. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at the Harrisonburg Church of the Nazarene, 1871 Boyers Road, Harrisonburg, VA.
