Mrs. Joan Lorraine Shambaugh, 78, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2011. She was born October 2, 1932 at Magnolia, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late James Ira Albright and Metha Pearl Bishop Albright. She had worked at National Fruit in Winchester, Raygold Industries in Paw Paw and was a cook at the Paw Paw School for ten years. Joan was a member of the Paw Paw Church of Christ and an ESMA with the Paw Paw Rescue Squad. On February 12, 1949, she married Curtis F. Shambaugh, who preceded her in death on December 31, 2002. She is survived by - One daughter - Paula (& her husband, Junior) Miller of Paw Paw, WV Three sons - Frank (& his wife, Cynda) Shambaugh of Fayetteville, NC Dale Wayne Shambaugh of Paw Paw, WV Lynn Cameron (& his wife, Victoria) Shambaugh of Paw Paw, WV One brother - Lenwood (& his wife, Gwynn) Albright of Berkeley Springs, WV Twelve grandchildren Thirteen great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Shambaugh, one brother, Charles Robert Albright and one sister, Anna Catherine Hare. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, WV with David Bradfield officiating. Burial will be at Camp Hill Cemetery at Paw Paw. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, June 5 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw.
