Jimmie Lee Eye, 77, of Harrisonburg, VA, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at his home.

He was born January 30, 1939 at Cave, West Virginia, and was the son of the late Harry Strite Eye and Georgie Ellen Johnston Eye.

Jimmie was a 1957 graduate of Franklin High School, where he participated in sports. He served in the U.S Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Jimmie was employed as a courier and was a member of the Brandywine Christian Church.

Nancy Hammer of Damascus MD

Four grandchildren and

Three great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella Sue Eye, and a brother, Richard Eye.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine, West Virginia with Pastor Anna Efaw officiating.
