Mrs. Jennie Lou Judy Hott, 63, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 15, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Born May 1, 1950 at Zigler (Smith Creek), WV, she was the third daughter of the late Kermit Adam Judy (1918 - 2012) and Buanna Cornelia Hartman Judy (1921 - 1999). Jennie grew up and attended schools in Franklin. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1968 and attended Catherman's Business School, where she graduated with a degree in Secretarial Accounting. She worked in Franklin at Pendleton Motor Sales (the Ford garage) and Sites Equipment. Jennie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Through her membership at church, she developed a great love of researching family history. Many of her close and extended family members have been blessed to receive copies of their own genealogy that she would collect and give them. She was a member of the Pendleton County Historical Society, and helped them in their many endeavors to record and preserve her county's historical heritage. Jennie married Jeffrey Eldon Hott on August 12, 1972 in the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, and later was sealed to her husband in the Laie, Hawaii LDS Temple for time and all eternity. In addition to her husband of 41 years, she is survived by - Three Daughters - Abbie Cannon (& her husband, Jim) of Hendersonville, NC Allie Ross (& her husband, Wayne) of Spencer, IA Emilie Hott of Franklin, WV One Son - Adam Hott (& his wife, Katie) Eight Grandchildren - Trey, Jackson, Samuel and Shelbie Cannon, Audrey, Olivia and Whitney Ross and Wyatt Hott One sister - Barbara Harman of Harrisonburg, VA A Brother-in-law - George O. Wilson, Jr. of Bridgewater, VA And her Mother-in-law - Ruth Hott of Franklin, WV Jennie was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Wilson (1941 - 2011) and a brother-in-law, Kelly W. Harman (1939 - 2013). Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 19, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Franklin with Bishop Jay Hartman officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. Wayne Huffman, Aaron Minor, Matthew Wilson, David Hartman, Jeff Carr, Larry Miller, Trey Cannon and Jackson Cannon will serve as pallbearers. Samuel Cannon, Shelbie Cannon, Wyatt Hott, Audrey Ross, Olivia Ross, Whitney Ross, Richard Ruddle, Jr., Dwayne Borror, Richard Lough, Clarence Hartman and David Sponaugle will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia. Memorials may be made to Mountain Hospice, P. O.
