Jeffrey Olin Simmons, 64, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his home.

He was born July 27, 1960 in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of the late Olin Simmons and Joie Catherine (Sponaugle) Simmons.

A 1978 graduate of Franklin High School, Jeff had worked at B&H Hardware, did construction work and was a retail sales clerk at Franklin IGA. He was a member of Smith Creek Church of the Brethren.

Hester Judy (Gayle) of Luray, VA

Joie Nelson (Philip) of Charlottesville, VA

Bettie Leonard (Rex) of Shenandoah, VA

A brother-in-law -

Charles Lambert of Waynesboro, VA

And a number of nieces and nephews

A sister, Janet Lambert, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM Saturday, September 28 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Michael Loudermilk officiating.

Inurnment will be private.
