Mr. James Robert Spencer, 56, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Health Center in Cumberland, Maryland. He was born December 24, 1956 at Cumberland, Maryland and was the son of Dollie Anderson Spencer of Paw Paw, WV and the late Charles A. Spencer. James was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Marines, and had worked for O'Sullivans, Consolidated Orchards and West Virginia Amusement Company. He was a member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church. Surviving are - Two sisters - Dixie Anderson of Anaheim, CA Betty Green of Hagerstown, MD Three brothers - Charles A. Spencer of Hagerstown, MD Gilbert Spencer of Paw Paw, WV Norman Spencer of Paw Paw, WV And a number of nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Spencer and one sister, Frances Marie Spencer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Paw Paw United Methodist Church with Pastor Darlene Powers officiating. Burial will be at Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Leonard Bullett, Ralph Crawford, Ray Fishel, Norman Spencer, Jr., Mark Spencer and Brian Turner will serve as his pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Spencer and Tyrone Spencer. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 25 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw.
