Mr. James Lee Moore, 71, of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland.

He was born August 12, 1945 at Marlinton, West Virginia and was the son of the late Wilbur E. Moore and Gladys McMillion Moore.

James was a 1963 graduate of Hillsboro High School and received a business degree from Glenville State College.  He had retired from the federal government.

A sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ernie Speck, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, WV  24954.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM Sunday at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton with Rev. Lloyd Arbogast officiating.
