Jacky M. Varner, Sr. of Cass, WV, departed life suddenly on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV. He was 69 years young (DOB: September 2, 1950) and the son of the late Lesley O. Varner and Irene Nelson Varner.

He graduated from Green Bank High School and was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Jacky was a welder and a prison guard and owned J.J.'s Bar in Cass.

On September 24, 1983, he married Janet Cox Varner, who survives.

Eleven grandchildren

Ten great-grandchildren

And their blessed maltese puppy, "JJ"

His body has been cremated and the family will commemorate his life privately. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and remembered in their thoughts and prayers always.
