Mr. Jack Lough Mullenax, 70, of New Creek, WV and formerly of Franklin, died January 22, 2010 at the Heartland of Keyser in Keyser, WV. He was born July 23, 1939 at Franklin, WV and was the son of the late Arlie E. Mullenax and Beulah Lough Mullenax. He worked as a topographer for the Defense Mapping Agency in Washington, D.C. and was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church, Sons of the Confederacy and the Pendleton County Historical Society. He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 - 1961. On February 11, 1965, he married Nancy A. Hiser Mullenax, who survives. Also surviving are - Two sons - Jay Mullenax of North Carolina Jon Mullenax of Dallas, Texas And five grandchildren - Katie, Forrest, Hayden, Jaxen and Kali He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Mullenax. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin with Pastor Randy Ours officiating. Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. Darrell Warner, Barry Glover, Len Proden, Bob Cline, Rob Thorn and Jon Mullenax will serve as his pallbearers. The family received friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home.
