Iva M. Harper, 90, of Franklin, West Virginia, died on Monday, April 11, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 26, 1921 at Moyers, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Ernest Clem Hoover and Mary Jane Rexrode Hoover. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. On December 24, 1941, she married Wilton Max Harper, who preceded her in death on October 30, 1973. Her special caregivers were a granddaughter, Jane Ann Malcolm and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Firor. She is survived by - One daughter - Juanita (& Stuart) Richards of Franklin, WV Two sons - Wilton Max (& Edie) Harper, Jr. of Franklin, WV Charles (& Anita) Harper of Franklin, WV One sister - Bonnie (& Bill) Wimer of Franklin, WV Eight grandchildren - Jane Ann Malcolm Melinda Hammer Chris Harper Tammy Rowe Jeff Richards Latisha McDaniel Abby Huchinson Amber Dunn Fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson She was preceded in death by one daughter, Irma Mitchell, two brothers, Harry Hoover and Leo Hoover and two sisters, Betty Harper and Shirley Joseph. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia with Pastors Craig and Wendy Richter officiating. Burial will be at the Harper Cemetery near Franklin. Vernon Wimer, Sheldon Waggy, Olin Hoover, Chip Harper, Terry Harper, Jack Beverage and Michael Wimer will serve as her pallbearers.
