Irene R. Blizzard, 91, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her home. She was born May 20, 1923 at Cave, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Luther Glen Harper and Montie Fleisher Harper. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. On July 23, 1949 she married Arlie R. Blizzard who preceded her in death on October 20, 1966. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Louise Simmons and infants Ruby Harper and Lucille Harper. She is survived by one daughter - Diann J. Blizzard of Franklin, WV Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2014 in the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin with Rev. Kevin Hand officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. Friends may call after 9:00 AM Saturday at Kimble Funeral Home.
