Ima Lynn Hammer Warner, 94, of Franklin, WV died peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Brookdale in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born October 31, 1925 at Franklin, and was the daughter of the late George O. and Roma Ruddle Hammer.

She was united in marriage to Royal "Carl" Warner, who preceded her in death January 5, 1993.  They were married 46 years.

A 1945 graduate of Franklin High School, Ima was a homemaker, enjoying life on the farm, piecing quilts, preparing many delicious meals and being well known for her rolls.  She relished on helping her neighbors, and delighted in teaching her grandchildren to drive.  She was a lifetime member of the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren, where she was active in the ladies' aide, serving as secretary/treasurer for many years.  Her life centered around her church, family and friends.

Three brothers, George Ona Hammer, Dale Ruddle Hammer and Gene Scott Hammer, and two sisters, Juanita Blanch Hammer and Neva Hammer Evick preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 7 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Bird officiating.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin.
