Ila Roselea Kidwell Whitacre, 93, of Paw Paw, WV passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home.

She was born July 18, 1926 at Levels, WV and was the daughter of the late Alfred Owen Kidwell and Stella Mae Shreve Kidwell.

Ila was a 1945 graduate of Paw Paw High School, worked as a file clerk in Washington, D.C., was a seamstress at Schoeman Sewing Factory in Winchester, Virginia, and a homemaker.

On September 18, 1946, she married Chauncey Lee Whitacre, who preceded her in death on October 7, 2014.

Constance Baber (Kenneth) of Paw Paw

Beverly Kerns of Paw Paw

Neil Whitacre (Linda) of Paw Paw

Twelve grandchildren

Twenty-nine great-grandchildren

Three great-great-grandchildren

And a number of nieces and nephews

A private graveside service and interment will be held at Woodrow Cemetery with Pastor Earl Travis officiating.
