Hilda Grace Sharp, 80, of Dunmore, WV passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She was born July 16, 1934 in Marlinton, WV and was the daughter of the late Hubert Nelson Miller and Goldie Jane Miller Sharp. Hilda was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith. In May 1960, she married Johnnie G. Sharp, who preceded her in death on August 21, 1967. Also preceding her in death were her stepfather, Austin Kyle Sharp; a son, Johnnie G. Sharp, Jr. and a son-in-law, Joe Bussard. Surviving are - Her companion - Ben Buzzard of Frost, WV Three daughters - Patty Bussard of Frost, WV Jackie Shirley (& her husband, Donald) of Keyser, WV Jane Johnston (& her husband, Rick) of Winchester, VA Three sisters - Carol Spade of Frost, WV Phyllis Ernest of Wellsburg, WV Jane Duelley of Colliers, WV Two brothers - Jimmy Miller of Spotsylvania, VA Carl Miller of Fairfield, VA Five grandchildren - Joey Bussard, Angela Taylor, Kisha Johnston, Richard Johnston and Matraca Shirley Nine great-grandchildren - Aaron Bussard, Ashley Bussard, Kinley Taylor, Wade Taylor, Blayton Loudermilk, Bransen Gordon, Remington Gordon, Johnny Johnston and Riley Grace Johnston And a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Penny Ryder Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, West Virginia with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 10 at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton.
