Hilda Jane Elkins, 80, of Marlinton, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2023 following a long illness.

She was born March 8, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Luther Kirk and Rachel Sharp Potter.

She was a homemaker and a very kind and loving person.  She loved her cats, enjoyed eating out, fishing and camping with her husband, and spending time with her family.  She had a heart full of love for everyone she knew.

Debbie Kay Schoolcraft (Denton Circosta) of Marlinton, WV

Two sons –

Jerry Schoolcraft, Jr. (Crystel McMillion) of Renick, WV

Randy Schoolcraft (Pam Hoover) of Marlinton, WV

One stepdaughter –

Joanie Harris of Reedsville, WV

Five grandchildren –

Brandy Baldwin, Tina Davis, Ricky Schoolcraft, Amanda McMillion and Thomas Ryan Schoolcraft

Nine great-grandchildren –

Bransen Baldwin, Brikenzie Baldwin, Valerie Schoolcraft, Franklin Schoolcraft, Dixie Schoolcraft, Josh Davis, Lucus Davis, Emma Davis and Charolette McMillion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Kirk; two sisters, Virginia Schoolcraft and Leona Schoolcraft; and one grandson, Steven Adkison.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 23 at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

Interment will be at the Henry D. Sharp Cemetery at Stamping Creek.
