Mr. Herald Richard "Knuckles" Rexrode, 91, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at his home.

He was born March 28, 1928 at Deer Run, WV and was the son of the late Pearl Rexrode and Iscie Lough Rexrode.

Herald was a Veteran, having served in the U. S. Army, and was a farmer.  He enjoyed people watching, especially during festivals and parades.  His favorite food was wiffle soup.  He loved playing video games with his great-nephew, Jacob Mitchell, and Jacob's scouting friends, Dalton and Colton Hester.

He is survived by –

A sister-in-law – Neva Rexrode of Franklin, WV

A brother-in-law – Curtis Fleisher of Washington Court House, OH

Preceding him in death were one brother, Ralph Rexrode and two sisters, Janet Fleisher and Erma Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin with Pastor Jess Felici officiating.  Military honors will be accorded by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.
