Harry Lee "Tuck" Thomas, 95, of Marlinton, WV passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home.

He was born August 12, 1923 at Buckeye, WV and was the son of the late Guy Ulysses Thomas and Effie Opal (Weiford) Thomas.

Tuck was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 1985.

On July 25, 1948, he married Dorothy Louise Smith Thomas, who survives.

Ellen Galford of Marlinton, WV

One sister -
Maxine Harper of Marlinton, WV

And a grandson -
Joseph Donald Galford.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Alfred Thomas and James Harold Thomas, and a sister, Gladys Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, October 5, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Fred Goldizen officiating.
