Harold Lee Cochran, Jr., 77, of Marlinton, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home.

He was born September 12, 1944 at Marlinton, and was the son of Edna May (Sharp) Webb of Pocahontas Center and the late Harold Lee Cochran, Sr.

Mr. Cochran was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a graduate of West Virginia Tech at Montgomery, WV with a degree in electrical engineering, had worked as an electrical engineer, and he and his wife owned and operated El Poca Motel for eighteen years.  He attended Marlinton Presbyterian Church.

On January 22, 1966, he married Sondra Bee (Nelson) Cochran, who survives.

A daughter, Misty Lea Cochran also survives at home.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George Hunter Cochran.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Mountainview Cemetery in Marlinton with Pastor Todd Corley officiating.
