Guy Tingler, 63, of Bartow, WV passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born October 8, 1953 at Cherry Grove, WV and was the son of Betty Greathouse Tingler of Cherry Grove and the late Marshall Tingler.

He worked with pulpwood as an equipment operator, and was an avid bear hunter and fisherman.  He was a Baptist by faith and a courageous cancer fighter.

On September 20, 1975, he married Connie Arbogast Tingler, who survives.

Rick (& Rhonda) Tingler of Cherry Grove, WV

Timothy (& Melinda) Tingler of Cherry Grove, WV

And two grandchildren –

Danielle and Haley Warner

Preceding him in death in addition to his father were a brother, Victor Tingler, a sister, Cathy Huffman and an infant brother.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a service will be conducted at 7:30 PM with Harold Mullenax officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 4 at the Tingler Family Cemetery on Big Mountain, Cherry Grove, WV with Harold Mullenax officiating.
