Mr. Guy Armentrout, 85, of Circleville, WV passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, West Virginia. He was born April 9, 1929 at Macksville, West Virginia and was the son of the late Grover C. Armentrout and Margie C. Harper Armentrout. Guy attended the Dixie School at Riverton and was a farmer and carpenter. He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Military Police during the Korean War. He was a member of North Dry Run United Methodist Church, V.F.W.Post 6454, and West Virginia Farm Bureau. On February 17, 1970, he married Mary Virginia Hedrick Armentrout, who survives. Also surviving are One son - Charles Armentrout & his wife, Jennifer of Circleville, WV One foster daughter - Kathy Haggerty McConnell & her husband, Davy of Franklin, WV Three sisters - Carrie Wetsch & her husband, Don of Elkins, WV Ann Armentrout of Stephens City, VA Jean Wimer & her husband, Larry of Riverton, WV Two grandchildren - Caleb Armentrout and Ty Armentrout And two foster grandchildren - Hunter McConnell and Reagan McConnell He was preceded in death by brothers - Arthur Armentrout, John Armentrout, Ray Armentrout and an infant brother and sisters - Ruby Sites, Grace Smith and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Earl Bible and Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Interment will be at North Fork Memorial Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
