Gladys Marie Stover, 92, of Sugar Grove, WV passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born June 3, 1925 at Clear Creek, WV and was the daughter of the late Luther Thomas Stover and Margie Marie Henderson Stover.

Gladys worked as a clerk at G. C. Murphy's and High's and was a waitress at Roy Rogers and Dot and Lou's Deli.  She attended St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in College Park, MD and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Wheaton, MD.

One sister –

Myrtle Ann Mauzy of Sugar Grove, WV

One brother –

Lowell Dale Stover (& wife, Shirley) of Temple Hills, MD

One sister-in-law –

Rose Stover of Nanjemoy, MD

Three grandchildren –

Vickie Stumbo, Billy Stover, Jr. and Patrick Barton

Three great-grandchildren

And a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by –

One son, Billy Gene Stover; three brothers, Thomas Stover, Norman Stover and Alvin Stover and a brother-in-law, Lester Mauzy, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 18 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 19 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating.
