Gerald O'Neil Pitsenbarger, 84, of Brandywine, West Virginia, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from prostate cancer.

He was born April 20, 1932 in Brandywine and was the son of the late Russell E. Pitsenbarger and Shirley Propst Pitsenbarger Rexrode.

He was a farmer, had loaded trucks for HFP and worked for the U.S. Forest Service.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War.  Gerald was a member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church and Sugar Grove V.F.W. Post #9666.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Pitsenbarger.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine with Revs. Jason & Jess Felici officiating.

Friends may call at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin on Monday.
