George Dasher III, 76, of Brandywine, West Virginia passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

He was born October 5, 1947 at Milam, West Virginia and was the son of the late Noah George Dasher and Clara Shaver Dasher.

He was a graduate of Moorefield High School and a member of the Brandywine Baptist Church.  He had delivered propane for Dixie Gas and Franklin Oil Company, operated heavy equipment at Quality Excavating, worked for various local farmers and at Ray Carr Tire.

Margaret Rexrode of Pendleton Manor in Franklin

Ann Knupp of Bridgewater, VA

Two granddaughters –

Brittany Dasher of Brandywine

Amy Dasher of Elkins, WV

And one great-grandson –

Troy Hopkins of Brandywine

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Dasher, Harry Dasher, Roy Dasher, and Jake Dasher; and his former wife, Mary (Hottinger) Dasher.

His body has been cremated and his family will commemorate his life privately.
