Mrs. Frieda R. Propst, 89, of Petersburg and formerly of Franklin, West Virginia, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, West Virginia. She was born September 23, 1922 at Dorcas, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Thomas Reel and Erma Blanche Judy Reel. She was a retired secretary and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was active in various civic organizations and clubs in Grant and Pendleton County including Franklin B.P.W., Women of the ELCA and the Farm Womens' Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rollin Cosner on December 18, 1971 and by her second husband, Kenneth B. Propst on May 24, 2006. Surviving are - One daughter - Judy M. Moreland and her husband, Stephen of Middleburgh, NY Two sisters - Virginia Fitzpatrick of Newark, DE Dixie Halsey of Newark, DE One sister-in-law - Florence Reel of Newark, DE One brother - Bob Reel of Starks, LA Three grandchildren - Stephanie Fuller & her husband, Kevin Andrea Moreland & her fiance, Dan Fulmer Randall Moreland & his wife, Kerry Two great-grandsons - Kevin Fuller and Derrick Fuller She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Bill Reel and one sister, Edna Evans. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia with Pastors Craig and Wendy Richter officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin, West Virginia. Bennie Evick, Abraham Evans, James Collette, Steve Hott, Daniel Fulmer and Randall Moreland will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17 at the Kimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, P. O.
