Evelyn Hedrick, 98, of Upper Tract, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

She was born August 25, 1922 at Smoke Hole, WV and was the daughter of the late William F. Spitzer and Nettie Florence VanMeter Spitzer.

Evelyn was the librarian at Upper Tract Elementary School and was a member of the Upper Tract United Methodist Church.

On August 20, 1943, she married Stanley Roy Hedrick, who preceded her in death on December 17, 2000.

Darlene (Steve) Miller of Upper Tract, WV

Three sons -

Jerry (Kathyleen) Hedrick of Brandon, FL

Larry (Millie) Hedrick of Timberville, VA

Tony (Hannah) Hedrick of Upper Tract, WV

Seven grandchildren -

Chad, Rachel, Holly, Whitney, Tyler, Matthew and Timmy

And eleven great-grandchildren -

Raven, Matthew, Brittany, Laney, Coy, Jonah, Addy, Ellie, Ivy, Hallie and Harper

She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles, and four sisters, Lona, Dora, Audrey and Annie.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract with Rev. David Webb officiating.
