Eula Mae Black, 97, of the Ruddle Community, Franklin, WV passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at UVA Transitional Care Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born July 1, 1923 at Ruddle, WV and was the daughter of the late Mack Roberson and Eva Hedrick Roberson.

Eula was a graduate of Franklin High School and a homemaker, and she and her husband owned and operated the Wilson Store at Ruddle.  She was a member of the Ruddle Presbyterian Church.

On October 1, 1949, she married Lloyd Black who preceded her in death on November 25, 1983.

Alden (& Ruby Gail) Roberson of Franklin, WV

Seven grandchildren

Thirteen great-grandchildren

Two step-grandchildren

And four step-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin Roberson, Henry Roberson, Arlin Hedrick and Roy Roberson; and one sister, Retha George.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sam Harper officiating.  Everyone should wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

Interment will be at Ruddle Church Cemetery.
