Eston S. Fleisher, 92, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home.

He was born April 8, 1929 at Cave, West Virginia and was the son of the late Charles William "Willie" Fleisher and Daisy Nell Harper Fleisher.

Eston attended school at Harper School at Cave and Franklin Elementary School.  He worked for W. F. Ganoe Sawmill, B. J. Aulde Sawmill and Max Ruddle Sawmill.  He did bridge construction work for I-81 near Staunton, Virginia and then worked at Hanover Shoe Company until he retired.

After retirement, he helped his son build fences until 2015.  Eston was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Moyers.  He loved horseback riding with friends - they once rode all the way to Durbin, spending the nights camping along the trail. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

In 1950, he married Anna Lynn Hoover Fleisher, who preceded him in death February 25, 1980.  A son, Charles Reid Fleisher; a daughter-in-law, Julia "Judy" Elaine Bishop Fleisher; two brothers, Emory Dean Fleisher and John Raymond Fleisher and an infant sister, Doris Marie Fleisher also predeceased him.

In 1983, he married Thelma Mitchell Fleisher, who survives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 23 at St. John Lutheran Church, Black Thorn Road, Sugar Grove, West Virginia with Pastors Jason and Jess Felici and Vicar Evan Christensen officiating.

Interment will be at Blue Grass Cemetery at Blue Grass, Virginia.

Wayne Fleisher, Bill Fleisher, Lane Fleisher, Arnold Lambert, Sam Waggy and Roger Lee Hoover will serve as his pallbearers.
